MEP Roundtable at the Center for Fundamental Rights

On January 24, 2023, the Christian Democratic Institute and the Center for Fundamental Rights co-hosted an MEP roundtable discussion regarding who controls the European Union and who directs the future of Europe.

The distinguished guests for the MEP roundtable discussion were Patrice Chagnon (RN), Hermann Tertsch (VOX), and Schaller-Baross Ernő (Fidesz). Kovács Attila, Director of EU Research at Center for Fundamental Rights, was the moderator of this interesting discussion. All the participants agreed on the importance of maintaining their respective countries’ national sovereignty and independence in the face of increasing attempts at centralization by the EU bureaucracy in Brussels.
