Book launch: The Sao Paulo Forum’s Cultural Warfare

In July, the 32nd Bálványos Free Summer University and Student Camp, commonly known simply as Tusványos, took place, hosting numerous panels and speakers from all over the region and even the world. It was also the occasion for the launch of the book the Sao Paulo Forum’s Cultural Warfare, written by Alejandro Peña Esclusa, a Venezuelan writer and published in Hungarian by the Christian Democratic Institute.

Mr Pena’s book summarises in a simple and accessible way the workings and strategy of the Sao Paulo Forum in Latin America. It is a book that serves as guide on how not to fall into the neo-Marxist trap, a real manual, as Mr. Pena described himself during the presentation of his work.

Zsolt Németh, Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the National Assembly, and Balázs Orbán, Political Director of the Prime Minister, discussed with the author the influence of the Sao Paulo Forum on not only South America but the entire world, and the significance of the book for Europe and for Hungary in particular.
